Travel Echo-Vascular Tech in Orange, CA

A Travel Echo-Vascular Tech Registered Cardiac Sonographer will provide pediatric cardiac echo studies in an inpatient and outpatient pediatric hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Orange, California. The caseload is about 4 to 5 studies per session with Cerner charting.

• Perform pediatric cardiac echocardiography studies
• Prepare patients and explain procedures
• Capture images and measurements for review
• Assist with routine and complex anomaly scans
• Document study findings in the charting system
• Support inpatient and outpatient echo workflow

• BLS certification
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer credential
• One year of cardiac pediatric echo experience
• 6 months of pediatric echocardiography experience
• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography training program or equivalent experience
• Pediatric acute care and outpatient cardiac sonography experience

• 2-D and 3-D echocardiography
• Doppler, bubble studies, portable studies, and TEE support
• Cerner charting system experience
• Teaching hospital experience
