About this job

A Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill cardiac and general ICU patients in an acute care hospital, on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, with open heart care, 21 beds, and Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms
  • Titrate vasoactive and cardiac infusions
  • Support ventilated patients and airway care
  • Assist with invasive line and device management
  • Care for post-open-heart and cath lab patients
  • Administer sedation, paralytics, and critical care therapies

Qualifications

  • Washington Registered Nurse license
  • ACLS and BLS
  • NIHSS
  • 2 years of cardiovascular intensive care unit experience
  • Epic charting system experience
