Travel CVICU RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse will care for immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients in a hospital unit in Nashville, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The 16-bed unit uses Meditech and typically serves 1:2 patients, with 1:1 care for some device patients. It supports advanced cardiac surgery and hemodynamic monitoring.

• Monitor post-operative cardiac surgery patients and respond to changes in hemodynamic status
• Manage arterial lines, PA catheters, and other invasive monitoring
• Assist with care for ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVAD patients
• Support intubation, central line, and Swan insertion procedures
• Titrate critical care therapies and coordinate multidisciplinary care
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech

• Current Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience
• PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring skills

• Experience with IABP
• Experience with Impella
• Experience with CRRT
