Travel CVICU RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients in a 16-bed unit on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit uses Meditech, typically staffs 1:2 ratios and 1:1 for certain device patients, and supports advanced cardiac surgery care with a 24/7 intensivist.

• Provide critical care for immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients
• Monitor hemodynamics and respond to changes in patient status
• Manage patients with advanced cardiac devices and invasive lines
• Assist with central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and the care team
• Document assessments and care in Meditech

• Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience
• PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring skills

• IABP, Impella, and CRRT experience
