Travel CVICU RN in Ft. Walton Bch, FL

A Travel CVICU Registered Nurse will care for critically ill cardiac patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The unit supports open heart surgery, advanced stroke care and critical care for cardiovascular and trauma patients.

• Monitor hemodynamics, telemetry and patient status in the cardiovascular ICU
• Provide bedside care for critically ill cardiac and postoperative patients
• Administer medications and titrate support therapies per protocol
• Coordinate with physicians and the care team on changes in condition
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses
• Respond to emergencies and support advanced cardiac care needs

• Florida Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Critical care assessment and cardiac monitoring skills
• Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills
