Travel CVICU RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a pediatric cardiac intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The 10-bed unit uses Meditech, works at 1:2 ratios, and serves congenital cardiac and medical neonatal patients with a collaborative intensivist team.

• Provide cardiac critical care for congenital and post-operative pediatric patients
• Monitor hemodynamic, rhythm, and respiratory status using bedside equipment
• Manage inotropic and vasopressor infusions and intravenous fluids
• Assist with chest tube management and care of post-sternotomy and open-chest patients
• Support moderate sedation and recovery for complex cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with intensivists, charge nurses, and families to coordinate care

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• More than 2 years of cardiac critical care experience

• Peritoneal dialysis experience
• CRRT experience
• ECMO bedside experience
