Travel CVICU RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical care for congenital cardiac patients in a pediatric cardiac intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The 10-bed unit uses Meditech charting and typical 1:2 critical care ratios. The team supports complex post-operative cardiac patients within an ECMO center and an interdisciplinary care model.

• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer and titrate vasoactive and inotropic infusions
• Manage postoperative cardiac care, including chest tubes and open-chest support
• Provide moderate sedation and ongoing pain control
• Collaborate with intensivists and the interdisciplinary team on complex congenital cardiac cases
• Support patients and families through critical care treatment plans

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• More than 2 years of cardiac critical care experience
• Strong pediatric cardiac critical care assessment and infusion management skills

• Peritoneal dialysis experience
• CRRT skills
• ECMO bedside experience
