Travel CT Tech in South Carolina

A Travel CT Technologist will perform computed tomography studies in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with an average daily census of 130 and Epic charting. It is part of a Magnet, teaching, Level 1 Trauma, and comprehensive stroke center.

• Perform CT imaging for routine, trauma, cardiac, and outpatient studies
• Prepare patients and administer contrast media safely
• Start peripheral IVs and support venous access
• Assist with interventional radiology procedures and special exams
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Document exams and patient care in Epic

• ARRT Registered Technologist credentials in radiography and computed tomography
• South Carolina license
• BLS
• 1 year of CT experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Epic charting and Siemens CT system experience

• 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Biopsies and drainage
• Cardiac CT, outpatient studies, and PACS experience
• Teaching hospital experience
