Travel CT Tech in South Carolina

A Travel CT Tech Registered Technologist will perform computed tomography imaging in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, handles routine, outpatient, cardiac, and interventional radiology studies, and uses Epic. The hospital is a teaching, Magnet, Level I trauma, and comprehensive stroke center.

• Perform CT imaging for routine, trauma, outpatient, cardiac, and interventional radiology studies
• Start peripheral IVs and prepare contrast media
• Assist with biopsies and drainage procedures
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Document studies in Epic and coordinate with the care team
• Support adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient care

• ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography, South Carolina license in hand
• BLS certification
• One year of CT experience with Level I trauma experience
• Epic charting experience
• Peripheral IV start skills, contrast administration, and radiation safety

• Biopsies and drainage procedures
• 3D rendering and post-processing
• Adult outpatient imaging
• PACS or Sectra experience
