Travel CT Tech in South Carolina

A Travel CT Technologist will support computed tomography imaging in a hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with routine, outpatient, cardiac, and interventional radiology studies in a Level I trauma, comprehensive stroke, teaching setting using Epic. First-time travelers with prior experience are welcome.

• Perform routine, trauma, cardiac, outpatient, and interventional radiology CT studies
• Prepare patients and administer contrast for exams
• Start peripheral IVs and support IV access needs
• Assist with special procedures such as biopsies and drainage
• Maintain radiation safety and monitor exposure practices
• Document studies in Epic and coordinate with the imaging team

• ARRT CT and ARRT R credentials
• BLS certification
• South Carolina radiologic technologist license
• 1 year of CT imaging experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Epic charting and Siemens CT system experience

• Advanced CT post-processing and reconstruction
• PACS and Sectra experience
• Adult outpatient CT experience
• Teaching hospital experience
