Travel CT Tech in Reston, VA

A Travel CT Technologist will support diagnostic imaging in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Reston, Virginia. The unit has 13 beds, a 4:1 ratio, and uses Expanse, Powerscribe, and Sectra. It handles radiography, CT, ultrasound, and mammography studies.

• Perform CT imaging studies and obtain diagnostic images
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and verify exam requests
• Position patients and adjust scanning protocols for image quality
• Monitor patients during exams and respond to needs
• Document studies accurately in the imaging record
• Follow radiation safety standards and unit protocols
• Assist with radiography, ultrasound, and mammography workflows as needed

• ARRT registry in CT, radiography, mammography, or RDMS
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• Basic computer and imaging documentation skills
