Travel CT Tech in Reston, VA

A Travel CT Tech Computed Tomography Technologist will perform imaging studies in an acute care hospital imaging unit on a 13-week contract in Reston, Virginia. The unit uses Expanse, Powerscribe, and Sectra, with about 4:1 staffing and multiple imaging systems. It supports CT, radiography, ultrasound, and mammography workflows.

• Perform CT imaging studies and support related diagnostic imaging procedures
• Prepare patients, explain exams, and position them for accurate imaging
• Operate CT equipment and monitor image quality during exams
• Assist radiologists and imaging staff with workflow and exam coordination
• Maintain imaging records in the documentation systems used on the unit
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and contrast-related protocols

• ARRT registry in radiography or computed tomography, or RDMS registry
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• Patient positioning, image acquisition, and exam safety skills
