Travel CT Tech in Eureka, CA

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic CT imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit sees neonatal through geriatric patients, averages about 20 studies daily, uses PACS, and has three rooms with Trauma 3 coverage for exams with and without contrast.

• Perform CT exams with and without contrast across varied patient ages
• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Support emergency, outpatient, and trauma imaging workflows
• Apply radiation safety standards and isolation precautions
• Reconstruct images and review studies in PACS
• Assist with vascular, thoracic, head, spine, pelvis, carotid, and musculoskeletal trauma studies

• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Adult acute care, adult outpatient, and emergency department CT experience
• Contrast media preparation, peripheral IV insertion, radiation safety, and isolation precautions
• Multiplanar reconstruction and PACS proficiency

• Fluoro Permit and ARRT advanced certification
• Fluoroscopy, enema studies, and surgery/C-arm experience
• ICU, portables, OR, NICU, and PICU support
• Trauma Level I or II, teaching hospital, or community hospital experience
