Travel CT Tech in Eureka, CA

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform computed tomography imaging in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit serves about 20 patients per day across neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with 3 rooms and Trauma Level 3 CT exams with and without contrast.

• Perform CT scans for emergency, adult acute care, and outpatient patients
• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Apply radiation safety and isolation precautions during imaging procedures
• Assist with trauma head, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies
• Use PACS and multiplanar reconstruction to complete studies
• Support abdomen, head, chest, pelvis, carotid, and lumbar exams

• ARRT CT certification
• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of CT experience
• Experience with PACS and contrast media administration

• Fluoroscopy permit
• Experience with myelography, drainage, or transplant studies
• Experience in ICU, NICU, PICU, or OR imaging
• Teaching hospital or community hospital experience
