Travel CT Tech in Eureka, CA

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform cross-sectional imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Eureka, California. The unit averages about 20 patients daily across 3 rooms and serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Trauma 3 coverage includes CT exams with and without contrast, with support from radiology, lift teams, rapid response teams, and transportation.

• Perform CT imaging for head, abdomen, pelvis, thorax, carotid, lumbar, vascular, and trauma studies
• Prepare patients, start peripheral IVs, and administer contrast per protocol
• Position patients and maintain radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Reconstruct images and review studies in PACS
• Support emergency department and acute care imaging needs
• Assist with CT arthrography and other contrast studies

• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications
• BLS certification
• 2 years of CT experience
• Experience with contrast preparation and peripheral IV starts
• Experience with PACS, radiation safety, and multiplanar reconstruction

• Fluoroscopy permit
• Myelography, drainage, and transplant studies
• Trauma, teaching, or community hospital experience
• Charting system experience
