Travel CT Tech in Columbia, SC

A Travel Computed Tomography Technologist will perform CT examinations in an acute care hospital on a 7-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The role supports ED, inpatient and outpatient exams for patients from neonates through geriatrics and uses Epic with Sectra for PACS.

• Perform CT examinations in ED, inpatient and outpatient settings
• Prepare patients and review imaging requests for protocol accuracy
• Assist with abdomen, chest, head, pelvis and trauma studies
• Support coronary CTA, biopsies, drainage and multiplanar reconstructions
• Start peripheral IVs and maintain image quality during contrast studies
• Apply age-specific care from neonates through geriatrics

• ARRT certification in CT
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association licensure
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• 1 year CT experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Philips and Siemens equipment experience

• Brain perfusion experience
• Drainage experience
• GE equipment experience
• PACS experience
• Teaching or community hospital experience
