Travel CT Tech in Anchorage, AK

A Travel CT Tech Radiologic Technologist will perform outpatient CT imaging and patient prep on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit sees mostly mobile patients for cancer follow-up, uses Epic, and serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a Magnet, Level II trauma setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform CT imaging studies and image post-processing
• Start peripheral IV access and prepare contrast studies
• Run point-of-care labs with I-stat as needed
• Support outpatient patients through exam preparation and positioning
• Document exams in Epic and maintain image quality
• Apply radiation safety standards during CT and x-ray work
• Perform routine x-ray studies as needed

• ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1 year of computed tomography experience
• Adult outpatient CT experience
• Peripheral IV start and contrast administration skills
• CT proficiency in abdomen, chest, head, lumbar spine, pelvis, thoracic spine, musculoskeletal, and vascular CTA studies

• Fluoroscopy permit
• Epic charting experience
• PACS experience with GE or Siemens systems
• Venipuncture, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, and teaching hospital experience
