Travel Cath Lab Tech in Columbia, SC

A Travel Cath Lab Technologist will support diagnostic and interventional procedures in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The 5-room unit cares for adults and geriatrics, handles about 20 to 25 cases daily, and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome, and the work includes advanced cardiac and vascular support devices.

• Prepare the lab for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular cases
• Scrub and monitor during coronary, vascular, and hemodynamic procedures
• Assist with angioplasty, atherectomy, temporary pacing, and device support cases
• Set up imaging, documentation, and procedure equipment
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the team
• Maintain turnover, supplies, and case readiness throughout the day

• South Carolina SCRQSA license
• BLS and ACLS
• ARRT or RCIS registration, in process accepted
• 2+ years of cath lab experience, community hospital experience
• Cath lab scrub and monitoring skills
• PACS and Vidistar experience

• Embolization experience
• Impella insertion experience
• Epic charting experience
• MAC Lab documentation experience
