Travel Cath Lab Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Cath Lab Tech will assist pediatric and adult cardiac catheterization procedures in a children's hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves congenital heart patients in 2 cath lab rooms with EPIC charting. It is part of a Level I trauma, teaching and Magnet hospital, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the cath lab for pediatric and adult cardiac cases
• Assist during diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, stent placement, ballooning and valve procedures
• Support transplant biopsies and congenital heart interventions
• Maintain sterile technique, equipment readiness and room turnover
• Monitor patients and document care in EPIC
• Assist with EP and IR cases as assigned

• 1 year of cath lab experience
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
• ARRT(R) with SCRQSA(R) credential
• Diagnostic catheterization, PCI and stent placement experience

• CCI RCIS or RCES credential
• EP experience
• Adult diagnostic catheterization experience
