Travel Cath Lab Tech in Columbia, SC

A Travel Cath Lab Tech Radiologic Technologist will assist with cardiac catheterization procedures in an acute care hospital in Columbia, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in 4 rooms, with about 25 visits per day and advanced catheterization equipment.

• Monitor and scrub cardiac catheterization cases
• Assist with left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, pacemaker, and Watchman procedures
• Support hemodynamic monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Maintain sterile technique and isolation precautions
• Prepare equipment and supplies for adult cardiac patients
• Work with the care team during diagnostic and interventional cases

• ACLS and BLS
• ARRT R certification and SCRQSA certification
• 1 year of cath lab experience
• Experience with adult and pediatric/neonatal diagnostic catheterizations, hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, sterile scrub technique, isolation precautions, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, IABP, Impella, Rotablator, OCT, ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, implant closure devices, laser-assisted procedures, PA line insertion, temporary pacemaker, permanent pacemaker insertion, ventricular assist device insertion, and Watchman
