About this job

A Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide care in a cardiovascular lab at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit is a 4-bed lab with a 1:1 ratio, Phillips Flouro equipment, and Mac Lab with Meditech charting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures
  • Assist with angioplasty and stenting cases
  • Administer and manage cardiac drips as ordered
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for lab procedures
  • Document patient care in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with physicians, techs, and RNs in the lab

Qualifications

  • Active Kansas Registered Nurse license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Registered Nurse experience

Preferred Skills

  • Mac Lab experience
  • Meditech experience
