Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in an acute care hospital during a 13-week contract in Torrance, California. The unit handles LHC, RHC, PCI, and some structural heart cases with an average daily census of 12. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assists with recovery of cardiac cath, PCI, PFO, CTO and EP procedures
• Monitors patients before, during and after cardiac procedures
• Completes preprocedure and postprocedure assessments
• Documents patient status, responses and procedural care
• Recognizes changes in condition and escalates concerns
• Collaborates with the procedural team to maintain safe cardiac nursing care

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• 1 year of ICU, ER or PACU experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
