Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN in Mission Viejo, CA

A Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will support adult cath lab care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mission Viejo, California. It is a STEMI receiving center with a 3-room lab for adult interventional cardiology cases and Epic charting.

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Monitor hemodynamics, rhythm, and procedural sedation
• Support STEMI and acute coronary syndrome cases
• Prepare IV access, infusions, and emergency medications
• Manage closure devices, arterial lines, and mechanical support
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention practices
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the team

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 3 years of Cath Lab experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Trauma Level II experience
• Prior travel experience

• Electrophysiology lab experience
• Cardiac ablation, mapping, and conduction studies
• Structural heart procedures, including TAVR and Watchman
• ACT testing, sheath removal, and topical hemostasis
