Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN in Santa Monica, CA

A Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will support adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital in Santa Monica, California for a 16-week contract. The unit has 4 beds, sees 3 scheduled cases and up to 9 cases a day, and uses Epic charting.

• Support adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures
• Assist with left and right heart catheterization, coronary angiography, angioplasty, and embolization cases
• Monitor hemodynamics, rhythm changes, and patient response during invasive procedures
• Prepare and manage intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, and thrombectomy support
• Administer ordered cardiac, vasoactive, and thrombolytic medications
• Coordinate care with radiology, pharmacy, respiratory services, and other procedural support teams

• California Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Diagnostic cardiac cath lab experience with left and right heart catheterization
• IABP placement and removal experience

• Interventional radiology experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Procedural sedation monitoring
• IV vasopressor, thrombolytic, and ventilator management
