Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will support cardiac catheterization procedures in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit serves adults and geriatrics and uses Epic charting. It is a Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor procedural sedation and hemodynamic status
• Start and maintain IV access and infusions
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, and reversal agents
• Prepare equipment for PCI, stent placement, IABP, and laser cases
• Maintain infection prevention and isolation precautions

• Alaska Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Epic charting experience
• IV access, sedation monitoring, and dysrhythmia management

• Activated Clotting Time (ACT)
• Angioplasty and stent placement
• Impella insertion
• Sheath removal and monitoring
