Travel Behavioral Health RN in Derry, NH

A Travel Behavioral Health Registered Nurse will support patients on a locked behavioral health unit in Derry, New Hampshire on a 13-week contract. The 18-bed unit uses Expanse, serves voluntary and involuntary patients, and follows a 1:8 nurse ratio.

• Provide nursing care for behavioral health patients
• Support therapeutic groups and treatment plans
• Monitor safety on a locked unit and assist with 1:1 observation
• Record assessments, vital signs and care in Expanse
• Assist with occasional EKGs and coordinate with the care team
• Use de-escalation skills and respond to changes in patient condition

• Active compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• CPI certification
• 2 years of hospital setting experience

• Mental health experience
