Travel Ambulatory Care RN in Playa Vista, CA

A Travel Urgent Care Registered Nurse will provide care in a clinic in Playa Vista, California on a 13-week contract. The clinic serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics with acute injuries and illness, and uses Epic.

• Triage patients with acute injuries and illness
• Obtain vital signs, pain assessments and health histories
• Assist with EKGs, splinting, wound care and specimen collection
• Administer medications, injections, IV infusions and nebulizer treatments
• Support telephone triage, patient teaching and discharge follow-up

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of overall outpatient experience
• 1 year of acute care with Urgent Care or ER experience
• Epic charting experience

• Emergency department experience
• Contact tracing
• Injury reporting
