Per Diem PICU RN in Edmonds, WA

An Per Diem Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill children in an acute care hospital in Edmonds, Washington. The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents, uses EPIC, and commonly works with a 1:2 ratio.

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, infusions, and respiratory support therapies
• Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other team members
• Support families with updates, teaching, and emotional support
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient response in the chart
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers in the unit

• Active Washington Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Experience with neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents

• NRP
• Charge experience
• EPIC charting experience
