Per Diem ICU RN in Orange, CA

A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in an acute care hospital in Orange, California. The role covers MICU, SICU, cardiac and neuro patients with a 1:2 ratio and Epic charting.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and neurologic status
• Manage ventilated patients and support BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula therapy
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, insulin protocols, and sedation as ordered
• Administer blood products, maintain central and PICC lines, and start IVs
• Assist with advanced procedures such as EVD care, CRRT, IABP, and cardioversion
• Perform phlebotomy, line draws, wound care, and infection prevention measures

• California Registered Nurse license
• AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification
• 2 years of recent/current ICU experience
• No more than 3 month gap in ICU experience
• Epic experience
