Per Diem ICU RN in California

A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a hospital ICU in Burbank, California. The unit serves medical, cardiac, and neuro ICU patients in a 38-bed setting and uses Epic.

• Monitor critically ill medical, cardiac, and neuro patients
• Manage dysrhythmias and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Support ventilator care, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Perform line care for arterial, central, PICC, and port access
• Assist with stroke, neurosurgery, and traumatic brain injury care
• Administer blood products, IV insulin, and infection precautions

• California Registered Nurse license
• 1 year recent intensive care experience
• AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Neuro intensive care experience
• Epic charting experience
• IV access, ventilator, and line management skills

• Arterial line management
• CRRT, IABP, and Impella experience
• Community hospital experience
