Per Diem ICU RN in California

A Per Diem Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for medical, cardiac, and neuro ICU patients in a hospital in Burbank, California. The 38-bed unit uses Epic charting and is a comprehensive stroke center with STEMI receiving. Ratios are 1:2.

• Monitor medical, cardiac, and neuro ICU patients
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Manage ventilated patients and airway support
• Maintain central lines, PICC lines, ports, and IV access
• Assist with CRRT, IABP, Impella, EVD, and other advanced supports
• Administer blood products and support stroke and post-neurosurgery care

• California Registered Nurse license
• 1 year recent intensive care unit experience
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Neuro intensive care experience
• Epic charting experience

• ECMO experience
• Arterial line management
• Intra-aortic balloon pump experience
• Community hospital experience
