Travel X-Ray Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging in a short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. It serves patients from neonates to geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and is a teaching setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Perform diagnostic radiographs of the chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, and extremities
• Assist with portable, bedside, and C-arm imaging across the hospital
• Prepare patients and equipment for fluoroscopy studies and contrast procedures
• Position patients accurately for pediatric, adult, and geriatric imaging
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions
• Document completed studies in Epic and support workflow
• Collaborate with emergency, ICU, operating room, and pediatric teams

• ARRT R certification
• Oregon Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience in a large hospital setting
• Graduation from an accredited radiology program
• Core skills in portable imaging, C-arm use, and patient positioning

• Fluoro permit
• Epic charting experience
• PACS experience
• Teaching or community hospital experience
