Travel X-Ray Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging support in a short-term acute care outpatient center on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit cares for neonates through adults, uses Cerner charting, and handles about 30 to 75 patients per day with another technologist.

• Perform diagnostic radiography for patients across all age groups
• Assist with portable chest and abdomen imaging
• Support fluoroscopy studies and contrast administration
• Operate bedside and radiography equipment safely
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions
• Work with another technologist to keep pace with the daily caseload

• ARRT Radiography certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of x-ray tech experience
• Experience with bedside and portable procedures
• Experience in NICU, PICU, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings
• Radiation safety, infection prevention, and contrast media skills

• PACS and Philips imaging experience
• Broad general radiography exam experience
• Teaching hospital or Trauma Level I or II experience
