Travel X-Ray Tech in California

A Travel X-Ray Tech Radiologic Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging in an acute care hospital in Burbank, California on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic and serves neonates through geriatrics with portable imaging, C-arm work and high daily volume.

• Perform diagnostic x-ray exams across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Obtain portable and bedside images for patients of all ages
• Assist with trauma, fluoroscopic and contrast procedures as assigned
• Position patients and verify image quality before sending studies
• Follow radiation safety practices and maintain imaging readiness
• Document exams and collaborate with radiology staff to support workflow

• California Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel X-Ray Tech experience
• Adult acute care and outpatient imaging experience

• Infection prevention and isolation precautions
• Charge or team lead experience
• Pediatric, teaching hospital or LTAC experience
• Trauma level I or II experience
