Travel Ultrasound Tech in Plainview, TX

A Travel Ultrasound Tech Cardiac Sonographer will provide multispecialty ultrasound and echocardiography care in a short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Plainview, Texas. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, uses Epic, and is in a Level IV trauma center.

• Perform general, obstetric, vascular, and echocardiography studies
• Conduct adult echo, contrast echo, and stress echo testing
• Obtain images for fetal, abdominal, pelvic, renal, and vascular exams
• Follow safety, isolation, and portable imaging practices
• Document studies in Epic and organize image transfer
• Assist with precepting clinicians

• BLS certification
• ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS credential
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with general ultrasound, obstetric, vascular, and echocardiography studies
• Competency in isolation precautions and portable imaging

• Breast ultrasound
• Ultrasound-guided biopsy and fine needle aspiration
• Paracentesis and spine imaging
