Travel Ultrasound Tech in Arlington, VA

A Travel Ultrasound Tech Registered Ultrasound Technologist will perform general diagnostic imaging in an ultrasound unit on a 9-week contract in Arlington, Virginia. The unit serves adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, handles about 50 patients each day, and uses Epic. The room is a small 4-room unit.

• Perform general ultrasound studies across abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, pediatric, and superficial applications
• Prepare patients and explain procedures before imaging
• Acquire and assess images for quality and completeness
• Support color flow, Doppler, and duplex examinations
• Follow isolation precautions and safe scanning practices
• Document completed studies in the charting system

• ARDMS Registered Ultrasound Technologist credential
• BLS certification
• 2 years of ultrasound experience
• GE LOGIQ machine experience
• General diagnostic ultrasound skills across abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, pediatric, and superficial studies

• ARDMS OB/GYN certification
• RDCS or RVT credential
• Epic charting experience
