Travel Ultrasound Tech in Andalusia, AL

A Travel Ultrasound Tech Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will provide diagnostic ultrasound services for inpatients and outpatients in the ultrasound unit on a 13-week contract in Andalusia, Alabama.

• Perform abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal studies
• Scan small parts, including thyroid, breast, and scrotum imaging
• Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
• Prepare patients and explain procedures before imaging
• Capture and document diagnostic images for radiologist review
• Follow departmental protocols and maintain timely service

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential or ARDMS or RDCS certification
• Alabama state license as a general radiographer
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
