Travel Surgical Tech in Brewster, WA

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support operating room care in a critical access hospital on an 8-week contract in Brewster, Washington. The role centers on sterile technique, instrument readiness, and surgical flow in a small hospital setting.

• Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for each procedure
• Scrub, gown, and glove self and team members using sterile technique
• Drape the patient and maintain the sterile field during surgery
• Pass instruments and anticipate the surgeon’s needs
• Count sponges and sharps with the circulating nurse at required points
• Assist with retraction, irrigation, specimen handling, and room clean-up

• Active Washington state license
• Graduation from a Surgical Technologist training program
• 2 years of operating room scrub experience
• Current BLS certification
• Knowledge of medical asepsis and surgical instrument handling
