Travel Surgical Tech in Austin, TX

A Travel Surgical Technologist will support operating room surgery in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 22 operating rooms, uses Meditech, runs at 1:1 staffing, and is not a trauma hospital.

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical supplies for assigned cases
• Assist during orthopedic, spine, neuro, robotic, plastic, general, and GYN procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and support safe instrument handling
• Pass instruments, supplies, and specimens during procedures
• Set up and break down case carts and trays
• Support efficient turnover and teamwork across the operating room

• Certified Surgical Technologist certification
• 3+ years of operating room surgical technology experience
• 1 year of travel experience
• Neuro and spine case experience

• Ortho, robotics, plastics, general, and GYN case experience
• Experience with multiple service lines
