Travel Surgical Tech in Atlanta, GA

A Travel Surgical Technologist will assist with obstetric surgery in a hospital labor and delivery recovery unit on a 13-week contract in Atlanta, Georgia. The unit is busy, with 2 operating rooms and about 300 deliveries each month. The role supports high-volume obstetric care and emergency postpartum response.

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field for obstetric procedures
• Scrub and assist with C-sections, tubal ligations and hysterectomies
• Support D&C procedures and postpartum hemorrhage response
• Maintain instruments, supplies and sterile technique during cases
• Pass instruments and anticipate surgeon needs throughout procedures
• Help keep the unit ready for urgent obstetric cases

• 2 years of recent experience in surgical technology
• Experience scrubbing obstetric and gynecologic procedures
• Basic Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program

• NBSTA or NCCT certification
