Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Seattle, WA

A Travel Sterile Processing Tech will support instrument reprocessing in an acute care hospital neuro and orthopedic unit on a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The role handles surgical trays, reusable equipment, and documentation in a sterile processing setting.

• Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and reusable equipment
• Assemble, wrap, and prepare trays for sterilization
• Monitor biological and chemical indicators during reprocessing
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and immediate-use steam sterilization processes
• Perform high-level disinfection and equipment documentation
• Process neuro and orthopedic sets and trays

• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification
• 2 years of acute hospital OR experience
• High-Level Disinfection, IUSS, and steam sterilization monitoring
• Biological and chemical indicator use
• Sets and trays assembly, wrapping materials selection, and sterile wrapping procedures
• Washer and sterilizer operation with equipment documentation

• Sterile Processing Microsystem experience
