Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Everett, WA

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will process and prepare surgical instruments, trays, and case carts in a level II trauma hospital on a 13-week contract in Everett, Washington. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, handles about 65 surgical cases and 1200 trays daily, and uses Epic and SPM in a teaching environment. First-time travelers with 2 years of experience are welcome.

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays
• Prepare case carts and organize loaner and consignment sets for procedures
• Reprocess scopes and specialty instrumentation using approved methods
• Follow preference cards and case needs for multiple surgical service lines
• Monitor sterilization, high-level disinfection, and indicator processes
• Maintain accurate instrumentation and supply workflow with the team

• CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification
• 2 years of sterile processing experience in an acute hospital or ambulatory surgery center
• Aseptic technique, manual cleaning, and instrument assembly skills
• High-level disinfection and sterilization processing experience
• Experience with loaner trays, case carts, and surgical preference cards

• Trauma and implant processing experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Pediatric sterile processing experience
