Travel Sterile Processing Tech in Olympia, WA

A Travel Sterile Processing Technician will clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments in an acute care hospital in Olympia, Washington, on a 13-week contract. EPIC charting and support for ENT, OB/GYN, orthopedics, plastics, and urology service lines are part of the setting.

• Decontaminate and clean reusable surgical instruments and equipment
• Inspect, assemble, and wrap instrument sets and trays
• Operate washers, sterilizers, and high-level disinfection processes
• Prepare case carts and support sterile supply needs for procedures
• Monitor biological and chemical indicators and sterilization results
• Document processing steps and equipment tracking in the charting system

• CBSPD or CRCST certification
• 1 year of sterile processing experience
• Acute hospital operating room experience
• Charting system experience
• High-level disinfection, washer and sterilizer operation, and case cart handling

• 2 years of sterile processing experience
