Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Windsor, VT

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a critical access hospital in Windsor, Vermont on a 13-week contract. The unit serves pediatric to geriatric patients and uses Cerner. Care includes ventilation support, ABGs and airway management.

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment
• Support invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Draw arterial blood gases
• Assist with airway management
• Assist with intubations when requested
• Evaluate and troubleshoot respiratory needs across patient care areas

• Active Vermont Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS through AHA
• NBRC credential
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Independent clinical judgment in respiratory care

• Pulmonary function testing
