Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care for NICU and PICU patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. Meditech charting and support for ventilators, noninvasive therapy, and airway clearance are part of the work.

• Provide respiratory therapy for NICU and PICU patients
• Deliver nebulizer therapy and airway clearance treatments
• Support BiPAP, HFNC, and ventilator therapy
• Assist with bronchial treatments and ABG procedures
• Monitor patient response and coordinate care with the team
• Document respiratory care and maintain respiratory equipment

• Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• 6 months to 1 year of PICU or Level 3 or Level 4 NICU experience

• Ventilator support in NICU and PICU settings
• HFNC, BiPAP, and airway clearance experience
