Travel Radiology Technologist in Charleston, SC

A Travel Radiology Technologist Certified Radiologic Technologist will provide CT and X-ray imaging support in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and pediatrics with STEMI, stroke, cardiac, and trauma patients. Epic charting is used in a Magnet, teaching, Level 1 trauma setting.

• Perform CT and radiography exams for adult and pediatric patients
• Position patients and explain procedures clearly
• Acquire quality images for interpretation
• Assist with contrast preparation and IV access as needed
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Document studies in Epic and PACS

• ARRT in Radiography and Computed Tomography
• South Carolina radiologic technologist license
• BLS and ACLS within 2 to 3 weeks of hire
• 2 years of radiology technologist experience
• Epic and PACS experience
• Prior travel, community hospital, and 1:1 patient ratio experience

• 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Cardiac and vascular CT imaging
• Adult and pediatric acute care experience
• Management or lead experience
