Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide stepdown care in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 44-bed trauma care stepdown unit uses Cerner and typical ratios range from 1:4 to 1:5.

• Monitor progressive care patients and respond to changes in condition
• Complete neuro and spinal assessments and report significant findings
• Administer IV medications, infusions, and blood products
• Assist with chest tubes, feeding tubes, PCA pumps, and airway support
• Apply C-collars and TLSO braces as ordered
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate stepdown treatment and discharge planning

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Neuro and trauma care experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
