Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult stepdown patients in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13 week contract. The unit is part of a Magnet-designated, comprehensive stroke and Level II trauma center in a large referral hospital.

• Monitor progressive care patients and respond to changes in condition
• Assess cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and overall clinical status
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support patients and families with education and discharge planning

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Telemetry and cardiac rhythm monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Strong bedside assessment and critical thinking skills
