Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide stepdown care in a hospital on a 10-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The hospital serves as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center and holds Magnet designation.

• Monitor stepdown patients for changes in condition and escalate concerns
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments and therapies
• Perform focused assessments and document patient responses to care
• Coordinate with the care team on admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Educate patients and families on plans of care and recovery
• Support continuous monitoring and bedside interventions in a progressive care setting

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Strong acute assessment, medication administration, and patient monitoring skills
