Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct care in a progressive care unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The 44-bed trauma care stepdown unit uses Cerner and typically staffs at 4:1, with 5:1 stretched.

• Monitor progressive care patients and report changes
• Perform neuro and spinal assessments
• Assist with chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusion, lumbar drain, feeding tube and blood transfusion care
• Support C-collar placement and TLSO brace use
• Collaborate with charge staff and the care team
• Document patient care in the charting system

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Neuro and trauma care experience
